Kijang Waterfall

The breathtaking sight of a roaring waterfall awaits the intrepid adventurer willing to “bash” his way into the interior jungle of Jelebu for two hours from Kuala Klawang. It is only accessible by four-wheel drive vehicles, and those wanting to venture here should be preparing for narrow, slippery and winding roads. The trip can be very challenging; especially when it rains because your skills and courage are tested as you pick your way around fallen timber. As part of the journey is on foot, visitors can embrace the entirely of being in the midst of the plush local jungle, and take in the sights and serenity of the trek. The awesome sight of the cascading Kijang Waterfall set in untouched nature is ample reward.

Serting Ulu Recreational Forest

It is located in the Serting Forest Reserve; about 15 minutes drive from Simpang Pertang in Jempol. Facilities available include rest sheds, food stalls, restrooms and pavilions. Cool and refreshing waterfalls and man-made pool are the major attractions for visitors. The waterfall pool has a water lock used to control the water level, offers an opportunity to take a cool dip in refreshing water.

Ostrich Park

This newly developed, countryside tourist attraction presents to its visitors various and interesting fruit trees and flowering plants, in addition to the flock of ostriches that are reared in the park. Visitors to this park not only get to see the ostriches roaming about, they get to see, touch and smell the local fruits found in the orchards. One can also buy ostrich skin products, dried ostrich meat and other ostrich health products at this park. The owner of the park frequently arranges for experts to explain to visitors the ostriches’ habitats. This talk is usually conducted after the tourists have visited the park. At the end of the tour and talk, the owner will then serve guests with a sumptuous meal of fruits (tel: 03-872 4680)
